The editor's text reads: "Turbulent and fascinating micro-stories of rock stars who fell apart. Some musicians forged their myth and their aura of mystery and great stardom after an early death. Carlos Cubeiro recreates the last moments or the turbulent lives of some of these musicians who ended up becoming legends before their time."

For my part, I can add that Broken Souls of Rock is part of a larger project, with musicians from other genres, such as jazz or singer-songwriters, with authors ranging from Glenn Miller to Víctor Jara. The stories of the members of the Club of the 27, such as Amy Winehouse or Jim Morrison, have also been left in the pipeline. All these stories and illustrations may see the light of day one day if this volume is well received.
