This was my second Barco de vapor (all Spanish illustrators have at least one under their belt). I loved dealing with Belén Gopegui's text, a story where the girls don't dream of being princesses and the protagonist travels, like a new Alice, through a dream world inhabited by curious characters. I know that the author really liked the illustrations, which is always comforting. Since it was published back in 2009, the editions continue to happen, both in Spain and in America. It's nice to see that the publishing world, so often turned into a mass grave of projects, hours of work and dreams, can keep alive works made with love and honesty.
